We are Karen Fritz and Rick McGee and back in 2013, we opened The Salted Rim with a simple goal: good food, fun space, and no fuss. We started small, just wanting a place where people could relax, laugh, and enjoy a plate of tacos or a burger. In 2020, we moved into a bigger spot with more room for outdoor games, live music, and sandy patio seating and outdoor bar that is open year 'round. We kept it casual, fresh, and full of energy—just the way we imagined it.

We wanted a place where locals could kick back and tourists could feel like regulars. That’s why we made this space cozy, welcoming, and full of real, everyday flavors. The idea was simple—serve great fresh food each day, give people space to gather, and never take ourselves too seriously. From cornhole tournaments to laid‑back afternoons with wings and tacos, we’ve built more than a restaurant—we’ve built a place to connect.
